About Edward de Chazal

Edward was born with a passion for language. Before even starting school he learned to read and write, and has continued to write and analyse the English language throughout his life.

Edward has been a teacher of English since graduating in 1987. Specializing in English for Academic Purposes, he has worked in 20 countries, teaching international students and training teachers. His teaching experience covers 8 universities in the UK, Europe, Turkey and the Middle East. Edward has written 12 books in academic and business English for Oxford University Press and Macmillan, which have been used by hundreds of thousands of students worldwide. He has been awarded scholarships and prizes, and feedback from his students is consistently outstanding.
